How the math works

A typical answered call runs about two minutes. Starter's 200 minutes covers roughly 250 calls a month (around 8 a day). Pro doubles that, Volume doubles it again. Past your plan, calls keep flowing at $0.39 per minute, so a busy month costs a few dollars more instead of cutting your phone off.

Compare that with a traditional answering service billing $1.50 to $2.50 per call with a human operator reading a script, or AI competitors starting at $149.99 to $249.99 a month. See the verified numbers in our Smith.ai comparison and Goodcall comparison. Elora is a flat rate from a company that would rather you start small and grow into a bigger plan.

Common questions

01What does an AI answering service cost compared to a human one?+

Traditional answering services bill per call or per operator-minute: typically $1.50 to $2.50 per call, so a few hundred calls a month runs $300 to $700. Elora is flat: $49.99 a month covers 200 minutes (roughly 100 typical calls). The price is known before the month starts.

02Is there a setup fee?+

One low one-time setup fee. It covers configuring Elora on your hours, menu or services, and FAQs, wiring up your number, and a test call with you before going live. No other hidden charges.

03What happens if I run out of minutes?+

Nothing breaks. Calls keep being answered and overage bills at $0.39 per minute: pay-as-you-go, no forced tier jump, no cutoff mid-month.

04Can I change or cancel plans?+

Any month. Plans are month-to-month with no contract: upgrade when call volume grows, downgrade or cancel whenever you want.
